VANCOUVER, Wash., July 20, 2006--Cardinal Nutrition Inc., the world's leading manufacturer of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a joint health supplement often combined with glucosamine and chondroitin, announced that it has hired Tim Gardner as its new vice president of operations.

Gardner will be responsible for plant operations including the manufacture and distribution of products, facilities safety and regulatory compliance. He will also facilitate product development and work to streamline processes to ensure continued operational excellence and growth of Cardinal Nutrition. Gardner joined the firm with over 20 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, direct manufacturing and the development and delivery of high value products for commercial, consumer and government customers. In addition, he brings expertise in 'lean manufacturing' techniques and the ability to create focused teams that achieve organizational goals time and time again. In his previous position as vice president of manufacturing at Silver Eagle Manufacturing, Gardner specialized in increasing customer value and contributing to the overall financial growth of the company.
